The countdown to Camp BFC: Double Up 2025 is officially on, and it's coming fast! Registration is already in full swing, and spots are filling up quickly. If you've been holding off, now’s the time to jump in. Don’t miss your chance to be part of an unforgettable adventure! With a full hotel buyout and double the space, immersive camp vibes (yes, Merit Badges are back and better than ever!), and the one-of-a-kind energy only the Babyfur community can bring, this year is shaping up to be our biggest and best yet. And here’s the exciting news: the Hotel Lottery opens May 19th! In this newsletter, we’ll cover the key details you need to know about the event, and share a few exciting updates. Thanks to your feedback, we’re bringing a host of new and improved spaces to make your 2025 experience even more comfortable, exciting, and unforgettable. This year, we’re introducing a larger, permanent main stage ready to host all your favorite events and performances. Our dedicated school space returns, and we’re adding a cozy new programming room ideal for panels of around 40 attendees. On top of that, a fourth programming space will give us even more flexibility for casual meetups and social events.
The playroom is expanding too, now with connected outdoor space for even more room to let loose and have fun. We’re also debuting a larger changing area and an expanded nursery in a quiet, low-traffic part of the venue, complete with its own changing space for added comfort and privacy, and that’s just the start!
You’ll now find a dedicated area for board games and an expanded Kidfur Zone filled with classic video games and interactive fun. The vendor space is growing to better support elaborate setups and give you more to explore. And throughout both the hotel and convention space, we’re adding multiple social lounges and chill zones to give you even more ways to connect, relax, and enjoy camp at your own pace. Of course, Camp BFC wouldn’t be complete without our beloved field trip, parties, and signature activities, including a larger dining hall with more food options, and more high chairs as well as other equipment. All of that and more is still to come, and we can’t wait to share those exciting details with you in the weeks and months ahead!
As a reminder, unlike many furry conventions, Babyfur Con is unique in that there is no on-site registration at the event. Even with a full-hotel buy-out, we have limited spots available for the event. Tickets are Sold on a First Come, First Serve basis within our registration portal.Â
You can upgrade from the Attendee or Sponsor tiers to the Super Sponsor tier through the registration portal until May 31. Upgrades to the Sponsor tier will remain available a bit closer to the event. We’ll provide an exact cutoff date as the event approaches.

After all registrations have been sold, any cancellations will return to the pool of available registrations, and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis in the registration portal. If after you register and find out that you can no longer attend, you may receive a full refund on your registration costs up to 30-days prior to the event start by emailing our registration team.

If you’re new to events like this, know that Camp BFC isn’t your typical furry convention setup. To protect everyone’s privacy and ensure a safe and welcoming space for self expression, hotel details are kept confidential. Think of it like a secret clubhouse code! Once you’ve registered and been vetted, you’ll receive the location info. Just remember: it’s for your eyes only, so please don’t share it with anyone.
This year, our Free Host Hotel Lottery, begins its drawing on May 19th at 5:00pm PT, with future lottery drawings occurring weekly their-after on Mondays at 5:00pm PT with any available openings.Â
We’re also pleased to share that the hotel room rates for this year are LOWER than last year’s event!
Room Rates (per night + tax):
• Double Double – $160
• King – $160
Host Hotel Booking Requirements:
• 4-night stay minimum: Thurs 9/11 – Mon 9/15
• A 2-night non-refundable deposit will be charged by the hotel upon booking
• Remaining balance pre-authorized 10 days before con
Each attendee is limited to booking one room, and the name on the hotel reservation must match the name on the convention registration account. If an unauthorized reservation is made and your names don’t match, you will lose your deposit.
Ready to enter the Host Hotel Lottery? Add the add-on to your registration via our Registration Portal.
👉 Didn’t win the lottery? You’ll automatically roll into the next drawing. If you for some reason no longer need to be included into the drawing, please send an email to registration@babyfurcon.com and let our team know. This will help increase the odds for another attendee to secure a room quicker.
